First Visit
When you come for your appointment please remember to obtain and bring the following:
- Referral letter from GP, family physician or other doctor
- Medicare card, DVA card, pension card
- Have your Private Hospital Insurance information with you
- Reports, X-rays, MRIs, CT scans etc. and any other relevant information
Initial consultation charge is $200.00 and this must be paid on the day. With the valid GP’s referral letter $76.15 can be rebated, and the rebate will be back in to your bank account you have set up with Medicare within a few days (can take up to 14 days) of the initial consultation.
Dr Khan charges NO GAP (Out of Pocket fee) for Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy and Minor Haemorrhoid Procedures.
Other General Surgery fees must be consulted during the initial consultation, and you will get a written quotation by email after the consultation. Out of pocket cost for general surgery may vary depending on the surgery and health insurance held.
